ROOT & VINE
ROOT & VINE
~using symbiosis in creative cycles
An activated seed leaves its dark womb but keeps its roots there, parts of it navigating through its medium towards the light. Each part has its challenges and its gifts, its mechanisms. If you were a plant, could you name all of your stages of development? Could you specify which points are most active in the present, and which points are under-performing?
The success of any living thing requires symbiosis, the cooperation of factors giving and taking. You must absorb nutrients; you must excrete waste; you must be open to the exchanges that make this possible. Like Root and Vine, you cannot exist in a vacuum.
Your roots are grounded in your beliefs and tenets. They decide what you will accept and what you will exclude. From your newly grown extensions, you will challenge the world, and you will develop according to what you find and how you believe about what you find.
You are a whole plant, root, stem, fruit, and leaves. You anchor what is below and unseen with what is wild and open. When you think of your self in this way, many parts and layers come together in beautiful function; you know that you can create more than you are currently creating.
You know that you can understand more than you currently understand. And you know when one part is energetic another part may be at rest. Study your parts. Consider your roots. Feel the sun and moonlight on your face.
Be joyous about your symmetry and form.
Be Grateful for your Garden.
Blessed Be This Day
