ACHIEVING SELFNESS

     ~developing as individual within the indivisible

There is a seed in you growing towards the Light that is a construct of Everything, of Great All, of all that has been and will be. It also carries the code of who and what you are as an individual. 

That Selfness is a running record of all of your thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors. Your Selfness is your history and your present, with a trajectory that is creating What-Comes-Next.

If you were a stranger to your self, how would you assess what you find after a day in shared company? How would you describe this person, as a unique individual, and as a character in the world play?

It is often difficult to overcome perception, and especially, to see clearly who and what we are. Our stories are flawed. Our memories are flawed. And in particular, our self-awareness and self-condition are flawed. How do we render our selves more accurately?

Stand in front of a mirror. Have a conversation with your self. Note your posture and grooming. What style, reflective of your personality, do you present to others? Are your eyes kind? Do you see, and sense, the vitality of life in your gaze? Does your physical form seem capable and engaged? What do you see?

Think of your experiences in life: first, of the least-appreciable response to an event, perhaps something you wish you could take back or erase. How could you have done a better job? Now think of a time wherein you rose to a challenge and felt you did exceedingly well. What caused you to courageously act in those moments? What inspired you?

How are you different from anyone else that you know? While part of the Great Indivisible, like the cells that combine to form the heart or the lungs, you are unique. Get to know that person, that Selfness, by ongoing examination. 

Make daily tweaks to the Individual, living within the Indivisible.

Let your Selfness become more and more refined, more loving and more compassionate. Do this through daily study. Listen to High Self. Look at the world and see where you fit. 

Be aware of your skills and strengths. Your Selfness is needed, right now, today. Your Selfness is capable. Your Selfness is a pure sweet note within a pure sweet Song. Know your part and play it with wild and voracious passion.
