REST

Rest is not merely the cessation of labor. Rest is the great inbreath, rumination, and review of life. It is the check-in, unburdened even by the repair and maintenance that will happen at the end of the Rest period.
How do you Rest? Do you Rest completely? Do you allow your self the joy of wandering through a day with little to no agenda? Do you use Rest as medicine . . . or do you merely collapse into “Rest” when your body and mind refuse to go further?
No matter our state, we must Rest. We must Regenerate. We must Pause and check our direction, our intention, our sincerity. Rest is not a luxury; it is a necessity. You will find after a Rest period, that the work following feels refreshed too.
So . . . Rest with all earnestness.

THIS LIFE

What is this Life you’re living? Is it to glorify a creator? Is it to learn lessons, or to spiritually grow? Is Life an indecipherable mess, a mistake that arose from the chaos of unformed elements? Your Belief guides your decisions, and your decisions, which harden into choices, bloom.
If Life grows from the seed of Belief that you plant, what kind of farmer are you? How are you managing your fields? What will your harvest yield? And what will you gain from the raw materials you have nurtured?
We do not suggest that you plant your field without consideration of the many others who are farming their own fields around you. We are suggesting that even when you are a wise farmer, if you are disappointed in a crop, there is always time to plant other crops. The act of planting the seed in the soil begins a chain reaction that will blossom, whether or not you be present to mortally witness it.
The track you've made is not so entrenched that you cannot pause, regroup, complete a survey, and entirely change the layout of your farm, its crops, and its market. Even at the liminal threshold of mortal death, there is time to plant new seeds. Like Jack with his magical beans, you may find a surprising yield that leads to new heights, new beliefs, and new outcomes.
Whatever your belief about Life and your participation in it, you have enough fortitude, assistance, and –-magic— , that you can re-create your self, your Life, and your purpose. Do not fear your history, your dying beliefs, your mortal age, or any other factors as you consider your Life.
Stand in your field. Feel the sun and wind on your skin. Put your hands in the soil. Feel the heartbeat of the Great Mother beneath your feet, and the Life that is all about you, down to the tiniest thoughts and directions in the microbes that drive sacred cycles.
You are Here. Now. Be grateful and make the most of your experience. You will leave a mark in your passing, whatever you do or don’t do. Why not make this mark glorious, singular, and magnetic enough to lead others to their own Highest Purpose? Like Jack, you have the power to grow a magical bean stalk.
Once you have seen the view from the heights of magic, you will no longer concern your self with being weighted down by earthbound mythologies.

Questions for Discussion: What is my current satisfaction with Life? What do I believe Life is for? What is currently growing on my farm, and which of my crops seem to me worthy and satisfying? Do I look upon crops that do not meet my standards as weeds? Would I remove these weeds, or do they serve a purpose? Do I believe in Magic? How might I use my own Magic, with or without the help of my Tribe, to better my Life and the Lives of others? If I was a brand new farmer, right now, today, how would my farm be laid out, what would I plant, and how do I see the crops being utilized beyond the initial market?

LATITUDES
2023, CONNECTION, HIERARCHY

We often speak about hierarchies, rungs on the ladder that relate to spiritual growth—a rather vertical idea when thought of in concrete terms. In similar verbiage, hierarchies would occur in Longitudes, a North-South direction on the globe. Latitudes are the opposite—lines of measurement that wrap the earth in a horizontal manner.
Latitudes are thought-forms, and consistent only in terms of their use for measurement. A line of Latitude might cross over tall mountains, deep canyons, or bottomless waters. The climates may vary, and its populace be roughly diverse. Still, there is a place, in distance, between the north and south poles, that is shared.
Latitudes also occur in our spiritual groupings and Tribes. If you are drawn to a person, quite likely they are in your Latitude. Sharing commonalities in vibration and belief allows for more streamlined communications.
While we are drawn to higher Latitudes, aspiring for spiritual growth, much of our growth occurs in the exchanging of ideas within our own group. This is where the majority of our living is done.
How many of your friends, co-workers, and family members share your Latitude? Quite likely, the percentage is high. None of us will long share time and space with those persons and influences too far out of our Latitude. In voice control, this might be known as our Tessitura, a range in which we sing where our sounds are the most powerful and controlled.
While our Range is much broader—higher and lower reaching—than our Tessitura, giving us entry to higher vibratory states, we cannot operate as well in Range as we can in Tessitura. We cannot live in fight-or-flight, or in places so far outside our source codes that we feel perpetually distressed and exhausted.
Have you met others who vibrate in your Latitude—within your Tessitura? Did the connection feel immediate and familiar? Seek this out to build your Earthly family. Within your Latitude you will find enough to keep you grounded, as well as enough to pull you forward and upward.
Now . . . Sing.

ADJUSTMENTS II

As we all shift to make accommodation for changing ideas and realities, our neurology is changing to accommodate us. Our chemistry and physiology is shifting to accommodate us. In short, our physical bodies are shifting to reflect the shifting world, its ideas, and beliefs.
What does this mean? We must embrace new ideas.
This does not mean that we will devalue old, wise ways, such as taking care of our soil, waters, and air, or ignore common courtesies. It does not mean we will debase others for wanting to live in antiquated styles, close to the land, in groups, or in other styles that are much different from our own.
How do you communicate, compared to your parents and your grandparents? How do you communicate, compared to your children and grandchildren? You can see these shifts. They are close to you.
So, be gentle. Be wise. Be calm. You do not need to believe what the person to the left or right of you believes. You do not need to conform or agree.
But . . . you must make and keep space for others to enjoy their own freedoms. You must allow the humanity around you to experiment and grow. You must accept that we are here together for the duration.
Do not create pain. Embrace harmony and love. Send a message to the world of compassion and understanding. Say hello in all the languages that you can speak.

Humanity has lived in many Earth ages. Currently, you live in the age of communication and information. What does this mean?
While word-thoughts, concepts, ideas, and energies related to such may be thought to live in the mind, the infrastructure of the body is key to allowing for these processes. A person born in the year 1900 arose with a nervous system, or neurology, most suited to the environment in which they would live and grow.
A person born in the year 1950 arose with a more delicate and complex nervous system—one that allowed for the fast arriving technologies that required their understanding and interactions. We cannot long live in a state of wonder and continue to operate and survive in our environment. We find a reckoning, or a space of acceptance where we can continue our tasks, including the task of being human.
By the year 2000, those born had adapted to much more, taking information into their neurologies in bites, much like computers do. Processing became more rapid. Chemistries shifted. Multi-tasking took on new meanings, and the files forwarded from history rearranged themselves according to what was most important in present times.
This happened all over the globe, not just in societies and cultures that were leading the way in forward technologies. When a certain portion of humanity shifts, all of humanity shifts. Delightful to some, but for others, who live outside these golden-circuited by ways, pain is felt.
Wherever on the planet you are born, there is a leveling that occurs, as humanity shifts together. We have likened this to the runners at marathons and how each athlete must wait for all the runners to say correctly that the marathon has been fully run. If you were waiting for the last runner to rest, cool off, receive nourishment, and know the outcome, you might feel some resentment.
If you were in the back of the marathon runners, you might feel resentment for running the marathon at all. And perhaps, at the back of the pack, deprivation is a condition that is close and large. You may be used to waiting for comfort. You may receive very little comfort—or none at all.
How can humans live in a world where few have much, and many have little? How can we perceive society as a whole when such disparity exists? Who can rise from this swarm of seemingly uncalibrated chaos and accept that the Earth has always been thus, and will continue to be?
We ask you to be kind. Be generous. If you are at the front of the marathon, take some care for those following. If you are in the center, have gratitude for living in a state where you are not stressed with greater-than-healthy expectations, nor are you living without enough resources for your basic needs.
If you are at the back of the marathon, be kind and be generous. This may feel difficult. This may feel unfair. But . . . we are all here together, creating our own reality streams within our limitations and beliefs. We are all learning. Open your self. Look at the largest picture.

WHEN DRAGONS RISE

Winds shift. The plates of the Earth move. And the heart—the woeful, glorious human heart—so too has its seasons. The heart will ask you to go places where you fear to tread. It will cause you to rise up and be a conduit for glory or ruin.
All of these things are part of the architecture and infrastructure of becoming who you will become. Like a recipe, each inclusion and omission means something larger to the whole.
You cannot say that yesterday’s tragedy left no mark upon you, or that something similar will never be repeated. Why? Temporing. You are made stronger, and more aware and compassionate, by those events which are most deeply difficult.
Your past may cause you to fear your present, and most certainly, your future. You will feel that fear as you feel sun on your skin . . . but it is needed. Know that you are not alone in your experience. Know that you are surrounded and supported by your Tribe. Know that even confused, exhausted, and full of terror, each act of the play is necessary.
When Dragons Rise, like a murmuration of opal-winged insects, you will stand in the center, sun on your skin, and surrounded by the new, improbable things that your future requires. Know that you are in good company. Know that you are loved. Know that every sacrifice you makes means something necessary to the whole of Great All.
With that knowledge in your woeful, glorious human heart, proceed. Let your Dragons guide and protect you. You needn’t know their names to feel their strength. You will no longer need to fear your fear.

We might consider Classic themes or wisdoms as if they are right, true, and/or real, but how does repetition factor into what we believe?
Does the early bird get the worm? Does the early bird get more worms than the afternoon or evening bird? What if the early bird is late? Does one stitch, stitched in time, actually prevent nine more stitches? What if the thread is faulty? What if the work is poorly done? Is hard work rewarded? Will evil know its own punishment in time?
Society seeks to answer questions such as these—to give resolution to the behaviors of people, the environment, and life in general. Do these Classic wisdoms and themes help us to better survive in our world, or does the great importance lie in solving small questions in order that the large questions can be given more time and introspection?
Most cultures offer bylaws that adhere to The Golden Rules—how to be a good person, a good neighbor, a good friend, and an upstanding part of the community. These Classic rules don’t address purpose in life, sensations and knowledge beyond the physical, and the mysteries of birth and death. As society on Earth changes, The Classics change, but slowly.
How will we disseminate The Classics to our societies if we become more consciously awake and aware? What is humans decide to alter their physiology by adapting personal artificial intelligence, and organs, or accessory organs, created in laboratories? We are never who we think we are, and rarely are we What we think we are.
Today, give thought to the Classic ideas, prompts, admonishments, and aphorisms that currently guide your life. How many are accurate, real, or true? If you could reimagine your life based on the Highest construct you can formulate with your rational intelligence, and your intuition, what would it look like? What would you look like? What would your society look like?
Imagine a Life constructed with the powerful forces of Love and Light as the infrastructure. What then would we cite as Classics?

We believe that The Divine is something perfect—something without flaw—something without comparison, yet the Divine can be a Twinkle, a moment lost, or a moment tied to All That Is. It is the experience of mind, body, spirit, and soul stopping on an inbreath to experience something uniquely captivating.
This can be a vision, a sound, a taste, a phrase hung perfectly among the words that support it. The Divine is an experience. Your connection to Grace leads you in, and once in the heart of that Center of Attention, you may muse.
Did your day contain something Divine? If so, what was it?
Did you feel more alive? Did you feel more love?
Did you feel Blessed, in an overpowering emotional, spiritual, and physical way?
We hope so. We hope that once you begin looking for The Divine, you will find it daily—or many times daily—and It will find you, having been called by your Belief and Expectation that each joy is vibrantly visible . . . once you allow your self to See It.

THE
ENERGY OF CHAOS
What is the mad, driven, surge-sourced
energy that we call Chaos? It is the way station—the inbetween—the place
where ‘resting’ states of matter, fresh from de-construction, wait to be taken
up into new forms.
Chaos is the baker’s pantry, the sounds of nature heard by the composing musician. It is the words that form and
express thoughts at the tip of the writer’s pen, and the reptilian urges given
dominance in moments of extreme need.
Chaos is that space into which the
magician reaches to pull out the rabbit. It is the stroke of mismatched yet
perfectly resonating elements, so large and wild and overwhelming, we must take
a step back. We must take a breath. We must surrender everything in our
peripheral vision and concentrate on the one thing ahead of us.
What is the One Thing? Close your
eyes and breathe. The Thing—The Purpose—is wrapped all through your nervous
system. It is the shadow where there is no sun. It is the Drive, the Reason for
your continuance day-to-day. It is your Fire.
Connect with your Chaos today and
you will connect with the Divine Chaos. Clear the pathway for the energy surge
that is inevitable. Take this in as manna and mead, then well-nourished, begin
this day—which, in eternity—never ends.

Since 2014 I’ve been using Blogger on the Google platform to post the Illuminations shared with me by my Spirit Guides, collectively known to me as Tribe de Cumbria. Responsibilities aside, I have given what time and energy I could to the project at each interval of the calendar, and though I haven’t gained additional time, energy, or will, I’ve decided to move my blog to a new site called Ritual Peace: (ritualpeace.org), with the intention of expanding the archive and offering services that might be helpful to other seekers. (I will leave Sacred Fox up as long as Google allows.)
Moving 600 posts—individually—to update format, photos, and tag lines is a slow job, but I will make the website live and available by September 01, 2023.
In addition to the Illuminations, what some have referred to as homilies, I will be offering free and paid downloads, pocket-sized books, journals, and invitations to group meetings, healings, readings, and celebrations. Tribe assures me that those who have most needed these words, thus far, have received them.
Tribe also tells me that more people than ever are seeking support for their own spiritual growth, for finding purpose, and navigating the world. Because Sacred Fox has an international audience, I assume that Ritual Peace will as well—and that’s awesome—because Earth is a Tribe, no matter how divided we feel.
