CAROUSEL

~ repeating cycles for growth and clarity

Circular movement need not be repetitive. If you are a Character on a Carousel, do you believe that you have discerned all that can be from a few revolutions . . . or many?

Look at the Carousel's circle as a clock's face. If beginning at 12:00 and moving clockwise, you will require a certain amount of time to return to your starting place. During this travel, the Carousel moves, the objects on it move, you move, and the worlds inside you and your environment move.

Outside the Carousel, the world you are passing, movement is also shifting the landscape, so much that each revolution is different, even if the orbit is similar. Rather than becoming inured to this, you can find ways to process life at Higher and Wiser levels.

If you find patience lacking, the wheel will turn, offering you a chance to try again. If you have failed to rise to challenge, you may garner your courage at the next window. And if you have failed to discover and understand your shadow self, you can slow this travel and heartfully, peacefully, and lovingly pursue that knowledge.

While life does not move in a perfect circle, it is cyclical. Despair less for where you have fallen short today, or yesterday. Look forward to the beautiful beasts ahead.

Blessed Be This Day

For Discussion:

  • Describe the cycle you are currently experiencing. Choose the most important challenge to contemplate. What is this challenge?
  • How did you react to the challenge the first time you met its complications? How would you like to react/respond to this challenge differently?
  • How many areas in your life would improve by responding successfully to this challenge?
  • How do you ideally prepare for this challenge?
