BACKDRAFT
~ combustive re-setting
When you encounter something explosive in a specific way, you can be thrown back, disoriented, and even injured. Whether this combustive event is simmering or sudden, the injection of oxygen (or information), can cause flares, forcing you to draw a line between what came before and what came after.
Death is like this. Simmering or sudden, the conflagration where one state becomes another forms a flashpoint, burning away the past and establishing a new future template. Though these transitions are very difficult, once existing, they become part of the fabric.
Many lines have been drawn in your life. Separation, new tenets, spontaneous awakening, and divine inspiration can all serve as a combustive re-setting of the conscious, subconscious, and superconscious self. If one approaches these milestones with awareness, the transition might be smoother, allowing time to reconfigure the way you engage your life.
If one is presented with a sudden Backdraft, such as the loss of a loved one, one's home, career, health, family or homeland, the combustion is mighty, able to temporarily burn away everything that occurred previously. You might feel deeply injured, displaced, half awake and wholly out of control. You might feel you are still burning.
Acknowledge your injuries. Go gently with your recovery. Study the new reality and your place in it . . . and be kind to others experiencing the same.
What Backdraft did you last experience?
Are you awake . . . or are you still sleeping?
Blessed Be This Day
