 SCRIPTURES VERSUS INNER SCRIPT

~following self when externals exceed core

When you are following a collective voice arisen from thought and belief, as constructed through a social normative, you are letting the voice speak you. When you are still and quiet, listening to your Inner Script, you reflect the voice of Self, modulated at your highest level of understanding. 

Scriptures are form-patterns that result from repetition, while Inner Script is the reflection of spontaneous wisdom based on eons of Truth.

Ask your self: Why do you do this thing or that? Why do you believe this thing or that? What are the consequences of one action versus another, based on the accumulated beliefs of your life? Have you been socialized in a thought-structure that is limiting and biased? 

Do you have firmly fixed beliefs regarding how life works, especially those that directly conflict with others’ fixed ideas and beliefs? How possibly damaging and limiting are those thoughts and beliefs? You are Re-Made into this Life with a core set of “instructions” for living.

Mostly, these core instructions will be overwritten by your family, community, and world-at-large. What replaces these instructions? How small an idiom constructs your beliefs?

Do you believe in heaven and hell? Do you accept the idea of punishment and reward, based entirely on belief? Do you believe that you are merely human and require a mediator to communicate with your Creator?

We are not suggesting that you remake your beliefs into a different but still-rigid form. We are suggesting that your fully understand the nature of your thoughts and beliefs. We suggest that you consider how limiting, false, idealized, or misdirected your thoughts and beliefs might be.

Once you understand what you believe and why you believe it, you can grow past the tangled thoughts that reflect your dominant paradigm. You can deeply understand in which ways your beliefs conflict with your Inner Script. You can abandon your taught, normative, and often oppressive Scriptures, in favor of independent plasticity and creative exploration.

Be a reflection of Who your Creator intended, not only for your self/Self, but for the whole of HumanKind. Compassion, Love, Purpose, and Inclusion are waiting just ahead.
