JUXTAPOSITIONS

2015, BELIEF, COMPARISONS

J
MAY 18, 2015

When comparing two or more circumstances, reality sets, or objects, side-by-side, what is learned is entirely dependent on the Juxtaposition of your beliefs, and how your life energy is divided and distributed across the different categories that affect your interpretive skills.  Should this job or that job better suit you?  The jobs considered are now Juxtaposed in your mind.

In considering these jobs, your beliefs, fears, biases, experiences, goals, drives, needs, desires, capabilities, skill sets, perceived obligations, self-esteem, self-faith, and self-denials are also in Juxtaposition.  This stew of considerations makes for an intricate and sometimes disturbing puzzle—when we are unclear or our own Self-beliefs, Self-worth, and Self-delusions.  How can we become clear enough to study Juxtaposed comparatives to obtain confident and faithful outcomes?

Extrapolation.  Stripping away—first—what is Not True, however difficult this may first seem, is a helpful exercise in reaching the infrastructure of what remains:  what we expect to be most True.  How do we begin?

The gross structures require little help.  Let us say you have eliminated all job opportunities but for two.  The two remaining are equidistant from your home, offer similar pay, and seemingly similar challenge and authority.  How now do you determine the remaining factors in these Juxtaposed opportunities?

Let us say that one job requires travel and one does not.  In your fear cache, you have stored horrible memories of a near-fatal car accident—and job A requires you to travel in a large city, on busy highways with a low safety record.  Will you ignore this job’s greater freedom and higher creative opportunities to feed an old fear?  Will you heed the motto of once-lucky, twice-doomed, and avoid the risk of increased highway-driving exposure, or will you reflect on future authenticity, and possibilities, creating an infrastructure for joy and success?

Job B seems to be a job of lower demands.  More in-house and with less frills, it might offer less glamour on the surface; it might also require less of your personal hours spent in work-related matters.  Listing all of the components you can confidently gather about job A and job B, you have made a 2-column list by which to Juxtapose your ideas for new employment.  You have a category for all things positive and a category for all things negative.

Now:  apply your Self-knowledge to these negative and positive ideas.  Why did you thusly categorize each of these ideas?  By what personality traits, beliefs, and experiences were you driven to find Truth in these outcomes?  Can you track these ideas back to their sources?  For instance:  do you have residual fear for driving on crowded highways due to a past experience, or is Spirit whispering to you in its small still voice, “Be Care-Full”?

Will job A actually take less of your personal time, or is it your own habits, stemming from low self-worth, a competitive nature, disorganization, time mismanagement, or some other condition(s), that will actually rob you—whether you take job A or job B?  Is job B more creative, in actuality, or is it that you are more easily seeing how you could creatively entail yourself at that job?  Could it be that job A has creative opportunities just as significant, but your perceived notions of working “under the yoke” in a small office affects your perceived abilities to perform independently?

Do you see how your beliefs, in your Self and in the world, affects every decision that you make?  Pros and cons are only the beginning of Juxtaposing any comparative factors.  And the formulae for the decision-making stew, in coming to the most beneficial conclusions for each unique individual, are as unique as the individual making the decision.

Inside you there are Legions. Do not try to rule your Self and your Life by autocracy. Know Thy Self. Know your Self in Its largeness, and know your self in its smallness. Be the leader of your Legions. When making Juxtapositions, come to the table. Debate.  Speak.  Become Wise.

HOW TO LIVE

2015, BEING PRESENT, GRATITUDE

HOW TO LIVE
MAY 11, 2015

How do you wake, and what is your attitude as you lie down to sleep?  Are you centered in satisfaction and accomplishment more often than ideas of failure and feelings of stress?  Is your purpose clear?  Do you feel that Life makes sense?  What is Life?  What is it to Live?  How do you know that you are Alive?

Look at happy children.  What do they hold back?  Left together at play, do you witness the ease with which children find their common ground together?  Unless taught to withhold, for the greater part, children share a genuine and sincere version of themselves with others.  They enjoy small pleasures.  They respond to Life with authentic emotion.

How do you respond to your Life?  Do you meet your Life each day determined to be awake, aware, and engaged with what it offers?  Do you take responsibility for your Self, your behavior, your thoughts, your actions, and the repercussions of how you involve your Self in Life?  Are you genuine . . . or are you an actor, a hypocrite, a martyr, or a victim?  Do you live your Life, or do you let the stream of Life toss you about like flotsam?

You have this one chance to be this singular person in this incarnation, here on earth, living this Life.  This is an honor and opportunity.  As much as possible, choose how you will Live this Life:  with what goals, attitude, level, and depth.  You will not choose everything that happens in your Life, nor will you have the grace to merely respond to, rather than react to, each event as you encounter it.  Do your best.

There are many reasons to be here, Living.  They are all valid.  They are not all necessarily positive or helpful—not in the eyes of All—or in the eyes of many.

Who are You?  How will this Life remember you?  In the Great Hall, where the records and memories of You are written, what will be scribed of this Life?  You are the author.  You will take what you are given, including the interruptions, blessings and tragedies, and forge your story.

Feel the pen in your hand.  What have you to say about this Life?  Living is not a passive activity.  Living is not mere mortal survival—the awareness of occupying space.  To write your Life, you must first read it, as a reader comes to the story, as an open vessel.

Read today.  Write tomorrow.  Only you can forge this story.  And where goes your pen, there go your thoughts.  And where go thoughts, goes energy.  Let the energy that is Spirit guide your pen.  As you read, hear that Song, and as you write, Sing it . . .

HOW TO DIE - PART FOUR

2015, HOME, HOMECOMING

HOME, HOMECOMING
MAY 9, 2015

How can we describe to you something that ascends and transcends everything you can currently conceive with your conscious mind? To perceive the unlimited, through the confines of what is limited, gives a tiny and unrefined view of what is described. Home is something best felt and experienced; even thought forms cannot accurately accede its true unfolded states. Word-forms cannot approach it. However; we will try.

When you die there on earth, transitioning from your mortal body, many shifts occur. Without the weight, density, and organic ties of the flesh, your Spirit chemistry—your eternal Zeitgeist—begins to stretch and reconnect more firmly to its known outposts, close and afar. Like a reverse panning of the heavy element gold, as you transverse higher vibrational realms, you shed lower vibrational materials, allowing you to pass through gateways.

How do you fit through the needle’s eye except to be formed of materials that flow through and around it?

Do not mistake the presence of your Home. It is there with you, now. It is there inside you, now. It is everywhere, always. But like a gemstone hidden in rock, you have obscured this state of purity with weight and fabrication—that you might focus on your intention of mortal incarnation. When you depart that incarnation, and remove that weight, your gemstone once again shines. Returning to the hall of gems, you shine among the shining.

This is not to say that once removed from your flesh you become perfect. We are flawed. We are possessed of varying levels of humor, intelligent, patience, and kindness. We build societies. We do well, and we do poorly. Yet, in all of that, we do not labor so grossly under the yoke of illusion here. While you may shield your self during your incarnation by using your social training, beliefs, fears, and misguidance, here we see more clearly. When we don’t do our best, we are consciously aware of that fact. We are consciously aware that we have made a choice to disregard doing our best.

This is a free will state, as is earth.

So, what can you expect of your reception here? First, let it be said that there is not one “here.” As there are many zones, temperate areas, cultures, and if you will, countries and continents on earth, so too is there a system of grouping among us here. We tend to gather by our common interests and beliefs, even in these greater states. But rather than warring, denying, avoiding, and seeking to use trickery and deceit, we most often deal with one another in clear terms.

We have structure. We have purpose. We do not float idly about, looking down or in or around.

(And speaking to the subject of disturbed Spirits or Spirits who are stymied and in-between, is not for today.) It does happen. Those nether-regions that occur between the dimensions of mortal incarnation and areas of “homeland,” have their own properties and etiquette. Home, as we talk of it today, is the place you planned to return to upon the event of your birthing. It is the place from which you departed in order to be born into your mortal incarnation.

What is possible in this place, Home? You will re-meet with loved ones and friends. You will study and create and give service. You will review your progress and decide which behaviors and character traits you would like to refine. You will assess your Life. You will assess Life.

Great All has made us to be Self-perfecting. We move forward, and sometimes, back. Let that time known as Dying become the thing that it is: a return. Let that idea help you to survey your current course.

What news of your journey would you take home?  Joy or defeat? With homecoming on the horizon, how can you best maximize this Life that you strove to enter and embody?

How can you lift your voice and sing fully and perfectly that Song that was made of you in the dawn of the Great All?

HOW TO DIE - PART THREE

2015, BELIEF, BIRTH, DEATH, EXPECTATION

Does the Spirit know when a transition of Life and Death is close? Not always. Sometimes the crossing over is swift, sudden, violent, and unexpected. The karmic issues are a matter for another time, but let it be said that decisions are sometimes made by one Spirit, acting alone or in accord with others, that lead away from the path and previous intentions in various and cataclysmic ways, affecting others in direct assault or by collateral damage. In these matters, there is little we can do to prepare you—except to say that this manner of transition exists and is most often difficult.

For all other matters and manners of Transition, turning to your inner wisdoms of How to Live and How to Die will help you to gauge your readiness and probable response to making an earthly exit. Your Spirit knows its Home, and the many resting places, and places of incarnation it has enjoyed in its existence. In these matters, you have the ability to be flawlessly led—although the lingering shadow of incarnation, ego, and personality are sometimes temporary stumbling blocks.

For instance: a mentally-disordered or physically disabled person might cross over and retain a strong identity-vibration with their earthly state, taking these perceived flaws with them into the non-mortal realm. Children will cross over with child-mind. Criminals cross over with fear of reprisal. Martyrs cross over with expectation of reward. Depending on circumstance, the depth of the identity-vibration, and the ego-state’s attachment need, healing these illusions take time. However--there are High Spirits aplenty, aware and compassionate, at hand to help with these cleansings.

For those who know How to Die, the transition is a blessed reunion with friends. Dying is a return to all that is Whole and fully seen, sensed and known, a wonderment of belonging and easy purpose. Returning to the fold is like returning to the table of a feast, being greeted with great love, asked of your time away, and regaled with stories of what has transgressed in your absence. You feel your place. You know your Self. You feel the Great All and sense how perfectly You fit into ITS web.

For those who know How to Die, the transition can be joyous, and at the very least, bittersweet. And just as you learned how to walk and speak and move about inside your own culture, you can learn the conscious language of your Spirit. In the quiet of your still, sacred, central point—that is ascended and part of All That Is—you will find everything you need to succeed. Learn the language of your Spirit through stillness and listening.

Do this daily.  And what of the Transition itself? Listen to your Spirit today. Know its voice. On the morrow, we will tell you of your Home.

HOW TO DIE - PART TWO

2015, BIRTH, DEATH, FEAR, PLANNING

TRANSITIONS, BIRTH, DEATH, PLANNING, FEAR
MAY 7, 2015

Dying and Living are joined by doorways—transitions by which the Spirit changes its relationship to the Great All. As you are born with certain knowledge inherent to you, these processes are accounted. It is the sometimes ponderous and entangled mortal incarnation that causes difficulties in the process called Dying.  Let us address this.

If you knew the date of your Dying, leaving this mortal realm, what would most concern you today? Very likely, as one of the Spirits receiving these words, fear of annihilation is not one of your concerns, or it is low on your list. Continuation of Life, like the note of sound that is You and your Song, winding eternally with All That Is, goes on. IT Is. You Are. We Are.  Have faith in that.

Perhaps you worry for the ones whom you leave behind there on earth. Some depend on you. Some see you as crucial. Some have even inflated your importance in their lives, letting what your earthly existence means to them eclipse their own paths and purpose. As with dependents and caretakers, such as parents and children: when there is a sudden and/or violent cutting away, transitions are difficult in the parting sense. Many enter therapy and healing right away upon making the transition from earth.

If your resistance to Death and Dying is that you have dependents, particularly children, who rely on you, ask yourself: what have you done to see to their future welfare should you be unable to continue as their caretaker? Having material resources is helpful, but applying yourself to future planning does much to soothe anxiety. Leaving behind loved ones, whom we believe will suffer at our loss, is the greatest resistance to transition.

Those recently crossed over worry when obligations lag and dangle behind them, and they find themselves unable to tie up loose ends and make good on personal obligations.

Another great impediment to a peaceful transition is fear of reprisal. What have you done in your life that evokes scenes of purgatory and hell?
Do you believe that in crossing over, you will be met with punishment, isolation, revenge, or destruction? This is a common theme, as is the expectation of a state of heaven or nirvana built to specifications by a religion which taught the Spirit a group of false descriptions of paradise. Where is the feast? The mansions? The angels?

Being absorbed into the Whole is a fear-state we find more common in the recent years. The idea that You, the Spirit who is singular and unique, will be absorbed in the greater Whole, without discrimination, is as false as false ideas of heaven and hell.

You are part of the Whole—a cell in an organism—yet as a cell, you are unique and have your own thumbprint, Song, personality, purpose, and drive. In crossing over, You will remain You. You become more aware of the Whole and better able to see the larger picture, but do not doubt that you will remain intact. You will not be rendered down to some base material and reabsorbed.

So . . . what are your unique beliefs about Death and Transition? Look forward.  Imagine you are crossing that threshold. What awaits you? How fares what you have left behind?

When we meet again, we will talk about the Spirit, its Song, and how it continues, always. We will tell you of the glory of Life, and we will show you that in knowing how to Live, you know well How To Die.

HOW TO DIE - PART 1

2015, BIRTH, DEATH, TRANSITIONS

HOW TO DIE, TRANSITIONS, LIFE, DEATH
MAY 6, 2015

Being born into mortal life, like being borne away from it, reduces itself to a formula: that of transition. One is in a state of non-corporeal being, and then one is present in mortal form. In the transition called death, one moves from a corporeal state to a non-corporeal state, taking life gains as vibrational additions.

In these two overruling types of transition on earth, personal will, choices, availability, destiny, and many other factors will affect exactly what happens in each individual process. While birth into the body is often met with acceptance and even celebration, transition out of the body is more often considered with suspicion, dread, and grief. The reasons are obvious to each of you currently enjoying your mortal form; even deep understanding may not alter some of the terms you have made between your consciousness and the aspects of impending mortal death.

But . . . what if you knew more about the concept of death? What if you knew how to die?
You were told how to be born. You were given long study on this. You were surrounded by those who love and support you, cheering you on. You were able to see across the veil—into the environment where your Spirit would soon inhabit the body. Quite likely, you knew many or most of, the persons involved in your impending incarnation. Being born, for us all, is a community process. And yet, in the community that is earth, dying is a silent and dread vigil.

May we help?

Have you feared death in this life? How close to you has death been? At your side? In your breath? Has it danced in your visions? Have you been in the inbetween, the spaces where those of us not currently in mortal incarnation can visit with those of you in mortal form? Have you had what is called a near-death experience? Have you seen and remembered your last home? Did you return with a state of peace? Do you still have fear?

Does the clock tick too loudly for your state of peace and purpose? How do you perceive death and how do you believe that death perceives you? Think long on this today and we will speak to you again on the morrow.

RECIPROMENTALITY

2015, GUIDANCE, ILLUMINATION

RECIPROMENTALITY, ILLUMINATION, GUIDANCE
MAY 5, 2015

Cycles and Circles create a sort of Recipro-Mentality in our lives:  Karma, if you will.  The idea that we experience in life an amalgam of what we invest in life, in the perfect sense, is a Truism.  It is also a Truism that Life does not always appear to work this way.  You do not invest “particle A” to receive “response A,” not in the immediate sense; but have faith that the investment/response cycle is at work in your Life, in the great workings of Great All at large.

When you are genuine in your quest to know more Truth and to respond with more authenticity, compassion and concern, Great All will meet you, providing experiences that allow you Reciprocal study.  Are you concerned about a behavior you find lacking in your Self?  If you would like to respond with more authentic compassion, activating this permission at a Spirit-level causes the Great All to apply its resources for opportunities to advance your mission.  You will soon understand and respond to others with greater compassion, by witnessing the great need for it, or by needing it yourself.

What is it you most need to learn in your Life today?  Is it the same thing that you most resist?  Likely, yes.  Lessons and growth are often paired with doubt, isolation, and pain.  It is no wonder we do not readily embrace them at whole.

Let us consider Isolation.  Do you feel alone?  Even surrounded by family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers, do you feel “other-than” and misunderstood?  Do you feel un-knowable?  Do you feel as if you live in the wrong time and place, secretly believing that you act your part more often than you embody your part?

Perhaps the Great All has already given you the chance to feel Real Isolation, the cutting away of all contact, the perceived loss of hope, despair, a sort of wretchedness of the soul.  Perhaps you were driven to the edge of mortal life-and-death before some epiphany lightened your way, or you suddenly valued your life as it was, even broken and dark.  Perhaps another hand clasped yours and shared with you words of wisdom, reaching you in places with signs and sigils that let you know—into the depths of your Eternal Spirit—that you are Never Alone.

This does not seem like the sort of experience for which a Spirit would yearn.  Born and molded into Congregation, we are never alone.  But taking on the illusion of Aloneness, we come to understand the suffering of those currently under the veil of that same illusion.  We understand the lie of illusion, the strength of false belief . . . and we build compassion in one more compartment of our Eternal Self.  Our labors pay us in a measure of salvation.  It cures a certain kind of blindness.

So, who are we to say, in the midst of suffering, what might be gained from it?  You are not the river today that you were but one moment past.  You are divine and flowing without cease, shifting particles of awareness and intelligence, building knowledge, wisdom, and compassion as you grow your Self and your Song.

Recipromentality is a gift.  To receive the salutations of the good that you invest, accept with grace, the lessons brought by the flaws that you hold out for healing.  Say Yes to change when it comes.  Open the book.  Sing the song.

Each time Great All helps to refine something that is yet coarse in you, your vibration Lifts.  Lighter and Brighter, you illumine the way for others . . .
