YOUR WILL & DESIRE
How closely do your Will and Desire work together? Are they teamed more often than they are opposed? When you say that you will do some thing, that it is both your Will and your Desire to do this thing, do you see it through to its completion? If not, what is it that impedes you?
How are your Will and Desire the same, and how are they different? This is measured in each endeavor separately, not as a whole condition, for certainly there are things that you Desire for which Will is easily applied, and things which are more difficult. Do you keep the intentions which you set for yourself? Do you listen to High Self regarding shifts which would serve You?
Think of one condition that exists in your Life, in this moment, that could benefit from a complete shift, whether that shift be release, acceptance, clarity, responsibility, cooperation, or singularity of purpose. Explore this condition for what is needed to create this shift for Higher Good. Have you made attempts for this shift before? How successful were these attempts? If these attempts failed, why did they fail? What did you learn from failing to fully shift this condition?
How well do you know your ego self; how well do you know your High? How well do the two selves work together? And finally: how do you currently quantify your Desires? Has your Who or your What generated this Desire to which you now bring your attention?
Let us say that you Desire greater clarity, simplicity, or insight, issues of Your What. To achieve clarity, allow your self to see through and beyond the programs that your ego-will runs between your personality and your High Self. To achieve simplicity, determine what High Self sees as most important and limit your energy expenditures and attention to those things. For insight, seek the Truths that are inborn to You.
Truly, only you can do this work for yourself. You must apply your Will, a force that represents both your Who and your What, and give the Desire the time, energy, and attention needed to make it manifest. You must make the sacrifices that are necessary. You must be uncomfortable, if necessary. You must sometimes allow yourself to spend time in the dark of ignorance or non-completion. You must understand that time is a fable and success, a gradient.
If you wait for someone to show you how to proceed, give you permission, take your hand and lead you inward, to scold you when you break your own promises, or root for you each time you perceive a victory, your pupil will disappoint the teacher, and the teacher will surely disappoint the pupil. As you are both pupil and teacher, this creates a state of hesitation and stagnation for you.
“Will you grow?” is answered only by the question: “Will you challenge yourself to be True and Real, to keep your own promises and meet your own goals?” This will not be done perfectly, but to be perfectly sincere in someday achieving symmetry of Will and Desire, even by small, upward measure, adds light that as it grows, continues to lead you forward.
Your Will is your strength and Desire its nourishment. They are meant to dance together, and the way they move is through Your Song.
Blessed Be This Day
