Since 2014 I’ve been using Blogger on the Google platform to post the Illuminations shared with me by my Spirit Guides, collectively known to me as Tribe de Cumbria. Responsibilities aside, I have given what time and energy I could to the project at each interval of the calendar, and though I haven’t gained additional time, energy, or will, I’ve decided to move my blog to a new site called Ritual Peace: (ritualpeace.org), with the intention of expanding the archive and offering services that might be helpful to other seekers. (I will leave Sacred Fox up as long as Google allows.)

Moving 600 posts—individually—to update format, photos, and tag lines is a slow job, but I will make the website live and available by September 01, 2023.

In addition to the Illuminations, what some have referred to as homilies, I will be offering free and paid downloads, pocket-sized books, journals, and invitations to group meetings, healings, readings, and celebrations. Tribe assures me that those who have most needed these words, thus far, have received them.

Tribe also tells me that more people than ever are seeking support for their own spiritual growth, for finding purpose, and navigating the world. Because Sacred Fox has an international audience, I assume that Ritual Peace will as well—and that’s awesome—because Earth is a Tribe, no matter how divided we feel.

Thank you for finding us. We wish you well and hope to meet you soon in the Sacred Meadows where Spirits come together to sing and dance.

 MORTAR AND PESTLE

You are the vessel.

The ingredients, your experiences, are placed into the vessel, The Mortar.

The Pestle, your reactions and actions, combines and transforms the ingredients.

You are a product of alchemy, and you yourself are pure alchemy. Many miracles have converged to give you life, place, purpose, and path. 

When you are born to mortal form, your Mortar already contains ingredients: your experience in the womb, and the chemical and magical directives given to you by your parents. You are not a blank slate. You are a vessel that is open to the world, seen and unseen.

 What are the earliest ingredients to be placed within your Mortar? How did you understand and respond to these ingredients—to your experiences? Did you find coming into the Light from the darkness to be a comfort, or was it intimidating? Were you a satisfied, healthy child? Were you contentious? 

No matter your reaction, and following actions, to experience, they have become part of the alchemical mix that inhabits your Mortar. You will grind and transform and commingle them according to your Beliefs, and at the level that your ability, progress and purpose allows.

 When you consciously add ingredients to the alchemy that is You, in every part of Self, you are inviting transition. You are forever changing the matrix of what you contain—which ingredients are available for your edification and growth. Some ingredients sweeten, others are binders, or tensioners, or have the ability to muddy and dull the mixture. 

This is why being exposed to what it High and Loving feels uplifting, and why a chronic abuse of ingesting that which is Low and Destructive makes for negative feeling and thought. You are what you eat; this is true not only with the chemical diet ingested to maintain your physical body, but also the food with which you energetically invite to your Mortar. 

Check your Mortar’s ingredients. Notice how you use the Pestle in remaking your Self. Only you can remix the contents of your Mortar. Only you can yield the Pestle by which you transform them. Aspire to be a High Alchemist.

 ANNIVERSARIES

No matter your time-keeping customs, Anniversaries are reverberations of something that has passed before. Whether connected to a calendar, a season, or a sign, Anniversaries can be a time of great joy, and also a time of great longing and loss.

Though you may live many mortal years, and feel wise with long passings, We tell you that Life repeats. The higher you climb, the greater your vision expands. You will see more of the larger patterns. And while events may be new for you, it is rare that any collaboration within Great All has never existed before—even down to the blueprint.

Our hearts turn to Anniversaries as remembrance. We harken to times past, and from our new perspective, revisit events with new eyes, hearts, and minds. How we choose to do this visitation guides how we will live life in between these hardened points.

Each year you will see and feel an Anniversary as a changed experiencer. You cannot help this. There is no guilt in viewing the past, a corridor through which we have moved and experienced our perpetually changing life, and sensing that we could now meet that event as a more evolved person. 

Evolution does not happen at will.

Change will never cease.

Celebrate with joy those things that you can.

Expand through Grace during Anniversaries that are challenging. You are here for a reason. Your Song is interwoven within many others—and this tapestry does not recognize mortal, emotional, or intellectual boundaries. It IS. 

You ARE. Have faith in the knowledge that one day your vantage point will be high enough to see the greater, finished work of which you are an essential part. You are surrounded by Love, and that Love lives EVERYWHERE, free of the bounds of mortal time.

 YEARNING

When the desire for change becomes all-consuming, you are Yearning. Sometimes, you are Yearning to such a degree you no longer correctly sense your reality and become paralyzed in moving towards your goals.

Yearning can make illusions—not only that once you have achieved the focus of your Yearning, you will feel happy or fulfilled—but that your Yearning is the ultimate goal, the key that unlocks something withheld, the answer to the unasked question. Yearning is a state of emotion and mind.

Yearning is a distraction. If you use your Yearning to stray from your path or ignore your responsibilities, how do you justify feeding this Yearning? Be clear.

Yearning can make us so deaf, dumb, and blind, we fail to engage with the problem-solving that is necessary to move forward. To desire is helpful. To have goals is helpful. To be engaged with a Yearning, to the destruction of all other paths and necessities, becomes a type of obliteration.

Check in with your goals and desires. Are clear paths laid forward? Are you under the yoke of Illusion and Yearning? We cannot transform a thing we cannot see.

 HIDDEN LIGHT

Every living thing contains Light. Light is the animus of Great All. When you are in the Dark, you can be assured that the Light is there with you.

Understand that Light is not limited to what you believe is goodness. Light is a current, a transformative miracle, a destroyer and a Re-Maker. Movement is perpetual, and Light is the Engine.

Thus, this spark that is Light, is present in all things, for all things change from the inside out, even if transformations are happening at the surface.

Are you feeling adrift in the Dark? You may be experiencing an embryonic period, or a state of rest. Do not despair. There in the Dark, the Light is with you. You will soon see it unfurl and change the status quo; it is the gift of Re-Making.

 GREATER DISASTERS

What is a Greater Disaster? Is this an extinction event? A tear that cannot be mended? Is a Greater Disaster, comparatively, merely more Disastrous than any previously experienced? 

First: what is a Disaster—to you—at this point in your history? You might find that your hierarchy surprises you. You might find that your limits to managing the Disastrous are much lower, or higher, than you believed.

If you have reached a place where you
cannot manage current conditions—literally—this is a Disaster. If you cannot manage with the help of friends and family, this is a Great Disaster. If the Disaster is such that even your Greater community cannot help you to set things right, you may say that this is a Greater Disaster.

You will be changed. Your path and your future will be changed. Perhaps you feel that your civilization is currently facing a Greater Disaster. What do you do? What do you act upon? When do you surrender and step back?

A Greater Disaster can be a necessary thing—a point that is fixed in time. Try first to manage this with Grace, then reach out for the Grace of others, and when all efforts fail, embrace the Greater Disaster and becoming very quiet, listen closely to your inner voice. Follow that new direction.

Life is not meant to be easy, or hard, or impossible to understand or navigate. Life is the meal you have joined, and you won’t leave the table until it is your time. Try your best to be part of the solution, or at least, to avoid contributing to the problem. Greater Disasters happen infrequently, but when they do, navigate with Patience and Calm.

On the other side of the Great Disaster awaits new paths and new providence. 

Look to that outcome as you struggle.

It is an inciting ingredient that begins to form a Pearl. This new insult, when it cannot be purged, is isolated, coated and glossed over. Like a Pearl of Wisdom, an assault has caused layers of understanding to grow over it, with each layer a chapter of new knowing.
