I am asked why these Illuminations are worded as they are, and why they sound so Archaic.
As I transcribe these Illuminations, I am listening with both my mortal senses and my eternal ones. My understanding is much bent by where in the river of change I currently am, and the factors that brought me to that place. Had I been raised in a different culture and in a different way, these transcriptions would be different. How much different? I don't know.
In the beginning of my revelations, my Guides told me to begin formally recording the subject matters they were discussing with me. They told me that others would benefit. What I am struggling with, others are struggling with. Born a Medium, some aspects of my ability came naturally, but the higher levels I had to earn through hard work and sacrifice. These changes include physical ones.
In the beginning of recording these Illuminations, it took great effort to cleanse myself and be solely in the moment. The more concentration I applied, the easier it was to hear and perceive the tone and meaning. I think those things considered, it took far more energy for me to open up -- the energy of Angels. And Angels, in my experience, or maybe just those assigned to help me be a proper conduit, do talk in archaic ways.
I don't know, but perhaps the language of Angels is more complex than humans are meant to understand. Maybe translations are difficult. I'm not saying that Angels talk down to us, but that in my case, perhaps the beginning flow was so distant, in whole, from my much lower vibrations, the bridges these Angels built were the workings of miracles.
Are they here now, helping me? Yes. They have told me specifically to address the many questions people have about what some term "Automatic Writing." The Tribe does not refer to this transmissions thusly, but calls their Illuminations "Sacred Writing." I have not been pushed aside. I have not been possessed. I am their conduit. They speak in their own voices, and I calibrate it through mine.
When I review the Illuminations, I never remember having transcribed the material. This doesn't mean that I wasn't present or possessed. It means I was truly in The Present, and after the work was done I fully released it. To survive with all these Illuminations constantly bashing around inside me would be impossible, or highly problematic.
Hopefully, this answers the questions of why these Illuminations sound so archaic. Perhaps, what they really sound like is "Eternal," relevant at any time in history and to any people. That is what Tribe de Cumbria and I both wish for.
As they have often reminded me, Language is merely a construct that attempts to reproduce, or make manifest, the meaning of the message. Language is a system of thought-forms, and those connections do change and shift as cultures change and shift. There are many ideas that are difficult to express using thought-forms, and this is one reason we are so drawn to music and art, which expresses ideas without relying on verbal Language.
The important take-away is that these Illuminations are meant to be helpful. The language is not so important as the Love. That, the Tribe gives in abundance.

WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE A MEDIUM
~ the life of a Medium
I am often asked what it's like to be a Medium, and the answer is difficult. I've always been a Medium, so I have no other life to compare it to.
We all talk to our inner voice, and often, we listen. Imagine that inner voice as comprised of many voices, from many walks of life, places in the universe, and times, forward and backward. My Tribe, a collection of helpers and guides, is just that: a panel of voices that are always with me.
They have never tried to make me believe one way or another. They don't solve problems for me, and they never intercede in my choices, nor do they try to influence the choices I make. I'm a regular person, struggling through life, and not held out from any trials, loss, or suffering.
I'm not super human. I get ill. I make mistakes. I make bad choices. I'm learning, the way we all are learning--but I happen to have informational sources close to hand.
These informational sources, that I began calling Tribe de Cumbria (based on the location where we first met on the ethereal plane), supply me with ideas to share. The Illuminations (their tag), are generally formatted as questions. They mean to help us think more deeply and clearly, and to make higher choices.
Typically speaking, my guides are genderless, timeless, and filled with unconditional love. Truly, their highest wish is to help not only humanity, but the entirety of Great All's construct.
And yes, I have benefited--extremely--from the gift of having Tribe de Cumbria with me, giving me love. And I hope--we hope--that the ones we share this with have benefitted too.
So: what's it like to be a Medium? You will be deluged with information. You will sacrifice. You will deliver messages that are painful and sad. You will be called to account for being a proper emissary. And you will give, time, heart, and trust to those who help you deliver these messages. You will never be alone.
Being a medium is not a cool title, or an entitlement. It's a lifelong job, that is simultaneously uplifting and exhausting.
Do I think you should train to be a Medium? I don't know . . . do you?
The important part of having access to the type of information that Tribe de Cumbria shares, is USING IT to better your life, and to better the Great All. Being of service will not avail you of great wealth and fame, unless you feel called to drive your ambition in that direction. Should you? I don't know . . . should you?
Why don't I seek wealth and fame? This sounds even more exhausting, and rather pointless. Would more people come to this knowledge? Yes, but the Tribe assures me that for the time being, the necessary people are arriving and accepting what has been given just for them.
Just for them? Yes. The Tribe reaches out to those who touch within this circle and sends messages through me for their highest benefit . . . so if you read an Illumination that seems written JUST FOR YOU, it probably is.
We're all in this together. And at some level, we are all Mediums.
