IN BLOOM

Like a flowering plant, you have cycles. 

Notwithstanding your entire life cycle, which begins in dust and ends in dust, you have seasons. One cycle is not superior to another; they are each necessary.

Each phase in your creation and sustenance creates something new, and beneath that more visible process, each phase is staging the events to follow. No energy is wasted, except that which you spill in resisting the process.

Are you in the dark creation phase, a seedling that having completed its instructions, is now translating to growth? Be content to grow in the dark until it is time to send your tendrils upwards towards the Light.

Are you springing from the fertile ground, a whisper of form promised, striking out into new and sometimes, hostile, territory? Plant deeply your feet, and strengthen your base and stems. Sometimes the wind is high, and the rain is driving.

Have you reached the bloom? Are you feeling justified for your hard work? Are the petals of your command station high and wide? Can you see above your competition, but more importantly: have you established the symbiotic connections necessary to thrive?

Have your petals faded? Are you beginning to husk, feeding the soil beneath you? Has your flowering ended with a return to the elements which bore you? Do not regret or fear. This is part of the cycle. This is the gift of the wheel, and returning to the solace of darkness—to create again.

Whichever phase you now find your self in, glory and be grateful. You are meant to rise and bloom and fade and die . . . many times. Accept these cycles and you will maximize your manifestations in each phase.

You are everlasting. Everchanging. You are ever here, and there, and everywhere. Be you In Bloom but briefly, the silent and steady other phases have given support, and form, to your journey.

 THE EYE OF THE STORM

Have you been weathering a Storm, what seems like long past your ability to keep battling? In The Eye of the Storm will you find respite—if you are ready—and if you allow your self to take advantage of the calm.

Be that time to physically, mentally, emotionally, or spiritually regenerate and prepare for the challenges upcoming, the Storm’s Eye helps you to recuperate. It will also allow you to see the immediate past as a neutral observer, rather than a participant.

This is the time to survey damages, to ask and receive forgiveness, and to calculate where your strengths and weakness exist. If you are in The Eye of the Storm, be thankful, and if you are still mired in the storm, retain hope. You were made to experience both adversity and ease . . . so do not despair.

And, anytime you can help facilitate an Eye in someone else’s Storm, be the succor and peace. Help to lift the burden and lighten the heart of another. It is by your will and action alone that Great All delivers Love and Remembrance.

 THE POWER OF SEED

How does a tiny Seed become a powerful oak tree? How does a baby, sparking in the magic of a moment, become a person who mimics the parents, even if parent and child are separated at birth? What is the power of this information, a directive that guides and remakes life itself?

Inside you, the directions for your making are tucked away. You have modified this initial blueprint as you travel through life, making decisions and taking actions. You are mutating. The information you pass on to the next generation will not be that with which you began. It will be more, and different.

Think of the many replications that Great All guided in order to come to your Creation. You are remarkable—a miracle. The body you live in provides the vault for the greater part of what makes you both individual and indivisible. The rogue spark, the tiny hum of creative potential that buzzes around you, waiting to be Scribe as you grow, will take its direction, whether or not you consciously guide it.

What directives do you give your Spark, the Scribe that will

over-write the programs contained in your original Seed?

Which metals will you emboss? Which stones will you etch?

You are a work in progress, and therefore, contain Great All’s endless possibilities. Knowing that you may direct the Scribe, what will you set down in your sacred instructions?

Speak and act with wisdom.

You are what you are creating.

DRAWING IN

Have you noticed a repetition of themes in your life—names, images, circumstances that repeat? Have you encountered more than a few ‘coincidences’ recently? Does your heart beat faster each time it happens, as if the deepest and most knowing part of you is whispering: “This direction—over here” . . . ? 

Because we cannot be hyperaware of life’s every detail in every moment, repetition helps us to firmly establish not only our direction on the path, but our pace and our method of travel. “Yes,” the voice says, “we are talking to YOU, and we want you to go THIS way, and take great note of what is happening as you travel. 

What is this thing that Draws you?

How will it change your life?

How will it change YOU?

We are speaking of occurrences where you are being drawn to the Greater Light, in order to do Greater Light Works. Whatever it is you are being called upon to do, you will have plenty of notice . . . and yes, you will have plenty of opportunities, and the tools to help maximize those opportunities. 

You will go alone. You will go in darkness and in light. You might feel fear and consternation, but you will go, even when your feet feel stuck to the ground. 

The Drawing In is driven by Purpose. The Drawing In forms a Lodestone. The Drawing In will keep you moving even when your actions seem disconnected from reality, alien, and too difficult. The Drawing In is magnetic, and wholly encompassing. In time, it will eat you . . . and with its meal, it will consume everything you have outgrown.

Let your self be Drawn In. Look upon the adventure as a great novel, something that stands the tests of time and cultural division. Form in the Truth, and Travel in Wonder. The Drawing In contains its Own magic, and that magic is contagious.

 THE LEFT HAND

 Most people are action-dominant on one side of their body. The hand with which you write and eat usually speaks to this—but what if you are ambidextrous—what if you equally respond to action with whichever side of the body can be most effective?

How does this change the way that you interact with your world?

We often say that the Left Hand is more attuned to the heart, or that it is the more intuitive and unconscious side of our selves. Have you found this to be true for your self? We also say that the right-brain is more creative. By compartmentalizing our assets and abilities, they suffer.

 What if you look at the world—see the world—with the whole self? What if you reach out, not only with your hands, but with your whole self? What if you consciously choose to engage all available portions of your mind, body, and spirit, as you interact with the world?

 

What has been hiding and quiet inside you? What known things, available in your registry, do you ignore, behaving as if you aren’t aware of their gifts? Do you know how large and connected you are? Do you know that you can do more than you are doing? 

Being a conduit in Great All is a unique and bracing experience, especially when accepted in the fullness of What Is. When you come to a fork in the road, the matter is not just taking the one less traveled. If both paths are apparent, both paths have been traveled. What of the high and rigorous path? How is it you will travel there? 

Confer with your wholeness; do not divide the self into black and white, good and bad. Do not blame diminishing circumstance on some inconceivable but convenient slight of nature. Your Left Hand does not signify a better or worse position that the whole. 

Embrace your many aspects. Compartmentalize only temporarily, to derail distractions while you work towards a particular goal. When you are Whole and Bright with Knowing, you shine far beyond your perceived boundaries.

 THE SOI-DISANT MYSTIC

     ~finding your own Song

Will you live your Life under your own Authority?

Or, will you let others judge you by limited external standards?

Who are you? Why are you here?

To be self-proclaimed in anything requires confidence. Whether or not that confidence has been earned is a matter of ego, as the proclamation may meet with resistance, for reasons arbitrary or justified.

Let us say you become a Soi-Disant (soi-di·​sant) Mystic. What might this mean? In the study of oneself, to become self-proclaimed means that you have decided to cut out the "middle man" for your immediate learning. It means that you are listening to your inner voice . . . your actual inner voice . . . the individual, yet indivisible identity that comprises the Eternal part of your existence.

It means that you accept both the burden and the responsibility for your own growth. It means that you cannot blame what you have learned or believed before. It means you will not be limited by one set of tenets or other belief systems. It means you will forge ahead, making your own path.

It means you will try your best to be patient, loving and kind--to your self--as you engage the world as a student. And you will engage the Mystic, sometimes perplexing, and quite often, wholly beautiful things that you experience.

This is not to say that you will not or should not consider other ideas, but that you will look for clues in moving from the place you currently occupy, to the place(s) you will occupy next. It means that you will be a Seeker. You will Seek what is obscure, enigmatic, and even esoteric.

You will become a Mystic by becoming a Seeker of Mysteries. You will self-proclaim as a way to validate the seeds of Truth that are inborn to you, acknowledging that the right time to develop wisdom is the moment you decide to.

You will have teachers.

You will be a teacher.

You will Validate and Vilify according to your journey.

And forefront to all of this is your own confidence,

not of the ego type,

but of the exultant

and enterprising Higher Mind.

To know Great All you must know your self/Self.

What better way than to be the Soi-Disant Mystic,

who must wait for no other, and is ever-present?

STAR FIRE

Life burns in you as brightly as you allow. 
Do not hide your Light, especially from your self. 
What is possible when the Star Fire 
that forged you visibly burns from your core outward?

The Elements are more than cosmic components; they are Live Sparks; progenitors. From their capable and durable expressions, Life forms. They infuse, construct, and drive the many variations of Us.

Close your eyes. Go inside. Find your Star Fire and release the governors you have placed to shield it. For a rarefied moment, consciously allow your Light to shine brightly. Do you feel your Light touching all that is? Can you hear its wordless language?

This expression of Self is the part of you that transcends all bounds. You cannot live perpetually in Its outward Grace, as it would burn you. You are here, on earth, living a mortal life—but that life is meant to be sacred at least as often as it feels profane.

You are flesh and Star Fire, and longing, and hope.

 May you burn brightly and seek good ends.
