WINNING

What line is drawn in Winning? Are you a Non-Winner up until the very moment you become a Winner? What is a Winner? Are you first? Are you best? Do you have the most, or are you the least fettered? Depending on your culture, your place in history, and your personal tenets and beliefs, it could mean a variety of things.

However: if your life is divided by a line that separates "Winning" and "Not-Winning", what kind of stress conflates the shadows of your woe?

Name one thing at which you would like to be “Winning.” Is this measurement made within the Self? Is it made as you compare your Self to some standard in the world? Is Winning dependent upon what the world reflects to you after you have displayed your perceived victory? What does it all mean?

Are you happy enough? Do you possess enough? Do you feel love and purpose? What is it that “Winning” might bring you that you do not currently possess?

Think fully upon your motivation when reaching the next thing, place, achievement, and status. Effort is only a waste when nothing is learned. Today, try Winning through the exploration and acceptance of your life as it currently is.

 OPPOSITES/ COMPLEMENTS

In Shan Shui, loosely a term for Mountain Water, 
two aspects—Mountain (earth) and Water (stream)—
must meet, giving one another blended meaning,

 Complementing one another. 

Without the mountain, what is the water? 

What exists in your life that seems Opposite in some way, 
yet helpfully acts as a Complement by shifting your points of reference? 

(learning what NOT to do by another's example, or gently changing by proximity)

Water follows the shape of the mountain, and Water creates the shape of the mountain. The relationships are symbiotic. 

Perhaps a person or condition that you find grating has a large gift to share. Perhaps a roughness, opposing force, or unexpected terrain can help shape your decisions, and therefore, your Life’s path. Perhaps a smoothness or flow attracts you and offers shelter. Which Opposites are currently operating in your Life? How could they be a Complement to your own nature and your own behaviors? 

Think as Water. For a time, you will move in the space you are given. Study your environment and your influences. As you branch away, you will have made your self at home; you will be in command of your own powers. In time, you will change the courses. You will shape and form according to your will and ability—for you are also an Opposite, and a Complement--to others. 

Wherever you are, be in the flow today. Be aware that Life is in perpetual motion. With every breath, there is Change. You are Change, and you are Changing.

 ENOUGHNESS

Which signs do you accept for understanding that you are saturated, complete, victorious, fully-inventoried, or satisfactorily invested? How do you agree with the Self that Enoughness has been achieved? What is Enoughness? 

Is being bitten by one breed of dog in one situation Enough, or do you need to be bitten by each breed of dog in each conceivable situation before you consider your dog-biting experiences complete? Do you need to repeat the patterns of hurtful relationships long past the point you can understand your own, and others', destructive behavioral patterns? 

Where is the Enoughness, and how do you gauge it according to each situation? How dependent are you on repetition and how resistant are you to change? Where is the healthy boundary, the stopping place, and when does the line say: one step more? 

You must follow your Intuition; you must trust your Core; you must listen to the voice of your Higher Self. A lesson learned gives you the clarity to move forward—but it is only courage that gives you the strength to face the tasks of change and surrender. Decide now what pins you in the past or in the present, and leave those echoes behind.

Sing the new Song. With courage, embrace the lessons that have provided you Enough for change. Move forward with both confidence and surety.

 IN SITU

Look at a thing in its natural habitat, in the place in which it arose, and you find that its Song is clearer and closer to its origin. Each time something is moved, reconfigured, or considered through new filters, a shift occurs. This especially, is true of You. 

While others view you through filters and beliefs, to understand the Self through your own original and undiluted senses is to see it in its fullest and most Sacred form. You are a Sacred entity. You exist for Sacred purpose. Your journey is Sacred.

This journey will be dulled by filters. It will be dirtied by missteps and misunderstanding. Your Song will sound off-key and disparate at times. This is not due to a change in your Sacred Core, which In Situ, in its original place of Creation, is a version of perfection that is open to greater Harmonies. This is due to the journey—to the learning that is necessary to Creation—to the making and re-making of All That Is. 

When you are Quiet, when you are Seeking, Seek that which exists In Situ, safe in Its Sacred Womb at the Heart of Great All. No justification is needed for what your physical journey corrupts; only embrace the desire to grow close to that perfection that anchors you to Great All and All That Is. It Sings to You. And Brightly, you respond.

 CIRCLE

Circles connect us to other places, people, times, ideas, and potentials. Whether a closed Circle or a Circle that is open like a spiral, the energy is that of Union and Communion. It is the promise that all things come to pass, and that all things find their balance among the Infinite. 

How do you experience the Circle? Do you feel Its fullness and culminations? Do you travel with sure steps? –or are you haunted by what you have left behind, what might be looking over your shoulder? No matter how straight the path—or how troubled—your journeys will lead you round and round again. You will experience Life in ever-emerging and ever-evolving loops.

You will meet again on the path, things that you believe lost or surrendered. You will meet again your weaknesses. Your will meet again your strengths. 

Be sure to experience the Circle as wholly as possible. Turn and check the path ribboning out behind you. How different is the world as you witness it from a more evolved viewpoint? How beautiful is the sky when Whole?

MIRAGE

Is what you see on the horizon “real”? Have you a north star to follow? How do you know your path—and your goal—are true ones, and that they will complement your life to the Highest degree?

We all indulge in the Mirage. We believe that this status or object, or person, will create a better, happier life . . . and once attained or reached, we realize our beliefs for a lie. What is currently on your horizon? Could it be a Mirage?

 

Hold the idea of your horizon in your mind, activating all of your senses. How has your life changed with the attainment of your horizon? What has shifted around you? How do you feel each day? Does attaining this thing or status fulfill you? Is your life better, easier, or happier?

 

Does your horizon pass the tests, or is it a Mirage? We need goals, and we need to see clearly the pathway to those goals. Once decided, all we need do is to stay on the path. However: if you are traveling towards a Mirage, wouldn’t you like to adjust for a false path? Do you wish to travel fairly and true?

 

Put your horizon to the test, now, before your path becomes overly deviated. Abolish the Mirage. This leaves you free to pursue your High and true goals.

 MINING FOR GEMS

 Rarely, a Miner finds a precious gem that easily and wholly reveals itself. More often, Mining requires tedious labors. Experience improves the process, but the reality of content still applies: the Miner may process tons of materials in order to harvest a handful of gems.

 That said, the wise Miner carefully chooses their site. One would not excavate for a gem in a location where conditions do not support its formation. One would excavate in an area carefully studied for its potential. These are very basic tenets. 

Likewise, one would not mine for wisdom where conditions do not support its formation. One would excavate in areas carefully studied for potential. Why would you study the methods of a thief when your real goal is to become a rare procurer and outstanding seller? Why would you immerse yourself among cowards and liars if your goal is strengthening your Truth and Courage?

 Standards, research, introspection, and comparative studies are necessary to determine the most fertile fields and the best applications of your time for your tasks. If you want clean water to drink, do not seek it in the dirty river. If you want to Mine for gems among the Forage, seek it where it may best be found.

 Old habits can be a unified force against new, better behaviors. Let us say that as a child you liked to look for rocks in the river. You grow into an adult who wants to learn gem mining and find yourself in that same river. Will you apply your child habits, or will you apply a higher standard of Mining, still able to enjoy your childlike excitement of being in the river and finding beautiful things? 

What happens when you are disappointed, when the Mining is not going well? Do you easily tire and abandoning all of your wise adult knowledge, find yourself squatting in the river attempting to apply the child ideas (leaving “B” to return to “A”)? When you form a plan constructed by Wisdom, do you apply your tenacity and self-faith until your goals are met? 

Mining for anything has its challenges. Inventors often fail many times before their workable idea is made manifest. The Highest Writers re-write until the words obey them. Talented composers and artists continue to tweak their work until its Song is complete. Mining for illumination, wisdom, and clarity is quite the same. 

You may process a lifetime of Forage to find what feels like a tiny amount of value. By applying yourself in fields that have been studied for the production of what you seek, you increase your odds. By feeding yourself quality ideas, quality Forage, you increase your odds. And by seeing the potential in things not yet considered, you will increase your success.

 Be a wise and steady Miner. Look for Wisdom among the mundane. Seek Truth everywhere, even where un-Truths are dauntingly gathered. Be a consistent and high-minded worker in the Mines.

 

The world’s ideas are many, 

so finding the Truths requires discernment and excavation. 

 

Train your mind. your heart, 

and your eyes, to find the gems.

 Mine only where those gems might be found.

 

By streamlining the mining process, 

your harvest of gems increases.
