IN THE ABSTRACT
IN THE ABSTRACT
~ concrete ideas versus vague ideas
What is meant when we say that something exists In The Abstract? Do we refer to a belief that this thought-idea exists only in the thought-dimension, or do we mean that we have only a basic idea of what we are attempting to communicate?
We could mean both, or either.
A writer, painter, or composer may sense something In The Abstract that must now be made manifest in the physical world. One could have a very large and very vague concept about something, and following the thread of the thought-idea, sharpen it from soft focus to detail.
What is it you believe about your self that you feel is concrete?
Do you identify with your gender, your non-gender, your culture, your work, your commitments, your family, your spirituality--as concrete ideas?
Are they concrete because they seem evident, or are long-standing and/or expected?
Now . . . what do you believe about your self In The Abstract?
What is it about your self, and ideas about the self that you believe lives in the shadows or just outside your everyday perceptions?
Is there more of you, Higher forms of you, attached but unmanifest in the physical realms, and would you prefer those particles to integrate with your present?
Conversely, might you believe that some of your concrete ideas are not so concrete? And do your shadows beg to be made manifest, or perhaps, beg to be kept far from your current realities? What lives for you In The Abstract?
Study your shadows today, and challenge your concrete ideas. Then, before you lie down to sleep, compare what you believed upon waking with what you now believe before sleep. Are you surprised?
